Report says officials concealed billions in Iran war damage to U.S. bases
The Daily Beast reports U.S. officials concealed billions of dollars in repair costs after Iranian strikes, including an incident where an Iranian F-5 fighter jet breached U.S. air defenses and struck a base in Kuwait. The report documents extensive damage at multiple American bases across the Middle East and estimates the repair bill already runs to many billions of dollars. Concealing the true scale of that damage masks the full financial and military costs, undermines congressional oversight, and understates risks to U.S. personnel and regional stability.

The F-5 Freedom Fighter is a very old design. But it has advantages, even today. Exceptionally low maintenance. And it is also very small, especially compared to modern jet fighters. Very difficult to detect with the naked eye, especially head on.
Hegseth should be fired immediately for letting a 50 year old plane take out US installations. Unprepared, ignorant and completely out of his depth. Do some PT Dumb McNamara
