Gerry Conway, comics writer, dies at 73

Gerry Conway, the comic-book writer WHO co-created the Punisher, died at 73. During a career spanning Marvel and DC, Conway also helped create Ben Reilly the Spider-Man clone and wrote the landmark issue "The Night Gwen Stacy Died." He also wrote for television and helped introduce darker antiheroes, and his stories reshaped Spider-Man continuity and superhero storytelling for decades.
