Andrzej Poczobut freed in reported Poland, Belarus prisoner swap

🇵🇱🥔 Poland and Belarus just swapped prisoners, 5 for 5. Belarus released 3 Poles (including journalist Andrzej Poczobut) and 2 Moldovans. Poland returned 5 Belarusians, reportedly linked to intelligence activities. The deal was partly facilitated with US involvement.

Thrilled to see that Andrzej Poczobut is finally free, although the gravity of a forced exile shouldn’t be underestimated. The Georgian branch of the Russian regime seems in no hurry to release journalist Mzia Amaghlobeli who won the Sakharov Prize together with Poczobut.
