Adley Rutschman hit a 397-foot, 101.4 mph grand slam off Steven Okert that put the Baltimore Orioles up 5-0 in the fifth inning. Astros center fielder Brice Matthews had the ball in his glove as he crashed into the wall, but it popped out and fell into the Orioles' bullpen. It was Rutschman's third career grand slam and it raised his early-season wRC+ to 192 in 63 plate appearances. The swing gave Baltimore a commanding lead and highlighted Rutschman's immediate impact on the Orioles' offense.
