Adley Rutschman launched a 397-foot, 101.4 mph grand slam off Steven Okert to put the Baltimore Orioles up 5-0 in the fifth inning. Astros center fielder Brice Matthews had the ball in his glove, but it popped out as he crashed into the wall and the ball fell into the Orioles' bullpen. The homer was Rutschman's third career grand slam and raised his seasonal wRC+ to 192 through 63 plate appearances. The blast gave Baltimore a decisive early lead and underscored Rutschman's growing power and run-producing role in the lineup.
