Star Trek: Deep Space Nine keeps showing up in top‑15 TV lists
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine appears on multiple 'top 15 shows' lists and nostalgia roundups tonight. Viewers point to Benjamin Sisko, Quark, Rom and Kira Nerys and to DS9's serialized political and wartime arcs as reasons for its recurring placement. This attention highlights DS9's character-driven complexity and long-form storytelling, making it a strong rewatch recommendation for viewers who prefer serialized science fiction.
Who else remembers these cool old Star Trek cutaway posters?
As we figured out it’s not for sale, here’s super high res of the poster for Enterprise D! 28689x15318. It’s 80mb, grab a tea
I found all of these in wildly high res and I want to host them in my viewer thing, but I’m unclear if the original artist is the same as the one for newer movies, and whether that person sells their art. One or both is on Behance, but with a hard to interpret portfolio If anyone knows!
I wanted the top left and bottom right so bad
I had the enterprise-D one!
Can't remember if I ever told you, but it infuriated me beyond REASON when I learned that the bridge of the enterprise was suppsoed to be at the top/front of the ship. Why in the world would you put that there! Everything is via viewscreens anyway!
I grew up poring over cross-section pictures of all sorts of things: cars*, creatures, medieval castles. Lots of star wars ones, but I didn't get into trek until later. * my first word was "car," so this started early.
Enjoy your Saturday, #StarTrek friends! Beverly Crusher - pioneer of holodeck grief counseling! #StarTrekTNG #StarTrekMemes
Jack on, jack off 😏
Let her grieve in her own way!
The disembodied spectre of her late husband. I think this is consistent for her somehow...
The program "Crusher, Jack II" was even sexier....
You can tell there’s no shirt on under that jacket…
I bet she missed him.
Jack, I dropped my hypospray~ Let me pick it up~
I'm going to watch Star Trek IV tonight. Because I deserve it 🤓
You've earned this. You deserve it. Now, they are not the hell your whales. But it is the hell your turn to laugh :)
The one with the whales?
The Voyage Home. That's a really good one.
Double good ass on you then! BTW take it easy on the 'lds'
Is that the one with the whales?
the wire ghost in the shell sac six feet under sopranos deep space 9 northern exposure dark counterpart x-files survivor terminator scc er oz true detective cowboy bebop
ah i should have said the 100
Deep Space 9 needs a lot more love. Especially in these times.
Terminator scc was good and I'm still gutted that it was cancelled.
Wow cowboy bebop is a bold choice on this website. People thought that John Cho was too old. But I thought he nailed it. They all had fun chemistry. Was looking forward to more.
did not realize how much gits changed my brain chemistry until i thought of everything else that it went on to have a knock on effect for
It’s incredible how good Northern Exposure is, especially once it hit its stride and before they finally “will they”ed.
