Free Comic Book Day, May 2 store giveaways

Tomorrow for Free Comic Book Day. Buy something extra, not for you, just one floppy. Leave it in a doctor’s office, put it in a bench in a local park, give it to your friend’s kid, this is how we convert new readers and how you pay it forward to the shops giving you free shit.

Tomorrow is Free Comic Book Day AND Comics Giveaway Day, which are functionally the same thing and held in (mostly) the same places. But whatever event your local store is holding: The stores pay for the comics. They are not free for them. Please purchase something at your shop if you can. Thanks!

It's also Free Comic Book Day, or whatever they have to call it now because Diamond sucks even in death. I'll be signing copies of Nerd Inferno w/an exclusive print. Hope to see some folks tomorrow.

Folks, an important PSA! If you’re attending Free Comic Book Day/Comic Giveaway Day then keep in mind that the books may be free for you but the shop still pays for each and every one of them. Only take what you want and make sure to support your local shop by buying something while you’re there.
