Montreal Canadiens vs Tampa Bay Lightning, Game 7, Stanley Cup Playoffs
In Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs between the Montreal Canadiens and Tampa Bay Lightning, Nick Suzuki tipped in a goal late in the first period to put Montreal up 1-0. That tip gives the Canadiens an early edge in the decisive matchup that will determine who advances to the second round. The Game 7 winner will face the Buffalo Sabres next, so Suzuki's go-ahead tally could be the difference between elimination and moving on.

Confession: I'm not a hockey fan (and yes, I am Canadian) BUT my father was a die hard Habs fan. I wish he was still with us to cheer on his dear Canadiens! Go Habs!!
I wore a path in the floor, pacing
Wootwoot! What a nail biter!!
OMG my poor heart! They won this game with only 9 shots on goal. Insane.
New Canadiens fan here! I sooo want them to win the Stanley Cup ๐ #GoHabsGo ๐๐ฅ ๐จ๐ฆ๐
Some Habs fans just canโt be helped. We just won a series against a legitimate Stanley Cup contender as the youngest team in the playoffs and Iโm seeing complaints about Caufield not scoring enough. Are you fucking kidding me?
Agreed. It is a team sport. When they are shutting down your 1st lineโฆyou make them pay with another lineโฆ
Ignore them. Shutting down Caufield was priority #1 for the Bolts. They did a great job. I would be surprised if the Sabres could do the same. They are a different team with different strengths, and I have a suspicion Cole will thrive in that series.
