Star Fox for Nintendo Switch 2, a remake of Star Fox 64, was unveiled with more realistic character renders and will release on June 25. Creators are producing posters, side-by-side design comparisons, short animatics, edits, and cosplay centered on Fox McCloud, Falco Lombardi, and Wolf O'Donnell, with Falco's updated model and Arwing/cockpit sequences drawing particular focus. Other recurring work highlights the game's online Battle Mode, amiibo compatibility, and Switch 2 features such as N64 controller support and AR Arwing filters.

Looking at the features of the Star Fox remake, I feel like this game will be controversial

Intense Space Combat: Hop into your Arwing, a high-performance aerospace fighter, and use laser blasts to take down opposing forces. You can also brake in mid-air to get enemies off your tail (no pun intended), and, of course, pull off barrel rolls to defend against incoming fire.

Protection Against Perverse Enjoyment: The animal characters are not intended to provide sexual gratification. The Switch 2 console will shut down if it detects that the player is becoming aroused.

I do honestly prefer Super Mario Galaxy Fox over this, but this version of Fox is good too, let’s not forget. It is a good design. Not perfect or even great, but certainly good. Would prefer Great over just Good, though.
