HBO renews Harry Potter TV series for season 2
HBO greenlit a second season of its Harry Potter television series. Filming is scheduled for this autumn and the new season is expected to adapt J.K. Rowling's second novel, The Chamber of Secrets. The renewal keeps HBO's long-form adaptation moving forward and gives the series room to expand plotlines and character detail that the films condensed.
