Mitch Marner stars for Vegas, scores in Golden Knights playoff win

Mitch Marner scored a power-play backdoor goal and finished with two points as the Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Anaheim Ducks 6-2 at Honda Center in Game 3 of the second-round playoffs. Marner's first-period power-play came after he dug a loose puck out at the crease and whipped it through the backdoor past Lukas Dostal to make it 3-0. The goal pushed Marner to 12 postseason points, making him one of Vegas's leading playoff scorers. Marner's scoring burst gives the Golden Knights reliable secondary offense and momentum, increasing pressure on Anaheim's defense and goaltending.
