Rafael Devers crushed a 399-foot solo home run off Pirates right-hander Carmen Mlodzinski in the bottom of the second to tie the game. The blast carried 102.5 mph exit velocity and marked Devers' second homer in two games and his fourth of the season. The homer extended Devers' hitting streak to eight games; he has eight hits in his last 23 at-bats. Devers' streak and renewed power give the Boston Red Sox a boost in the middle of their lineup as they seek more consistent offense.
