FPL Gameweek 36, DGW deadline and Bench Boost calls

Ahead of the Gameweek 36 double gameweek deadline, a large number of managers activated Bench Boost and handed the captaincy to Erling Haaland. Common transfers moved Palmer and Semenyo out for Bukayo Saka or Cherki, while other swaps included Thiago to Welbeck, Struijk to Kadioglu, and Lacroix replacing Hill. Some managers used their Triple Captain on Haaland while others saved free transfers for Gameweek 37 to set up subsequent chip plays. Those choices increase score volatility and make differential picks like Saka or Cherki decisive in mini-leagues because Bench Boost amplifies points from overlooked bench assets.
