Farrer by-election count continues as One Nation climbs
The Tally Room's live count for the Farrer by-election shows a sharp collapse in the Liberal Party primary vote while One Nation's primary support has surged in early tallies. Preferences have not yet been distributed and Liberal strategists say they will wait for postal votes before conceding the seat. The eventual flow of preferences and postal ballots will determine whether One Nation converts its surge into a win, making the result a potential signal of shifting regional support away from the Coalition.
One Nation appears to have won the Farrer by-election. I know the media will say this is a hit to “the majors” but let’s remember this was a Liberal seat. Labor didn’t run. It’s up to Angus Taylor to explain why HIS PARTY lost this seat while mimicking extremist, hateful One Nation. Shameful.
