Good Omens Season 3 finale, director explains the ending
This is a nice way to look at it: #GoodOmens3Spoilers #GO3Spoilers
That’s so true. Crowley the star maker wouldn’t turn into the cynic if not for what he’s been through. Aziraphale wouldn’t be so neurotic without what Heaven did to him. This is a glimpse of how they could have been, maybe should have been, if they’d been left in peace to love and be loved.
Oh wow that's beautiful actually
Nah. Without all that history it’s not them. They’re completely different people. If you took someone and erased every memory and gave them a new life, it wouldn’t be the same person anymore. It’s like the situation with Job’s kids. I don’t want new kids. I want the Angel and demon I know and love
#GoodOmens3Spoilers #GO3Spoilers Here’s my thought, how many times do we need to tell the story about the bird and the mountain to realize eternity is not something to strive for. They get to live human size lives with real free will where they find each other over and over. Without all the baggage
#go3spoilers Imma need another movie, TOUT DE SUITE, where they find the stones and De-Thanos everybody.
At the eternal flame scene my husband was like "oh, right! Michael's gonna throw her own page in the fire and so delete herself and undo all her actions and so everything will be restored, right?" Like damn that would have been so good 😭 #go3spoilers
Multiverse got me thinkung about Dr Strange. Did he check all the possible outcomes? Im sure there was an other way !! #GO3spoilers
#go3spoilers Anthony buys Arthur's Eddington's "The Mathematical Theory of Relativity" in which Eddington describes energy in the theory of relativity (the science of how space and time work) as a general value that is defined by its conservation. (1/4)
#go3spoilers In plain English: Energy is a total amount that never disappears, it only changes form. Eddington also argues that the universe is not just material machinery made of moving parts but that reality has a deeper structure than what appears on the surface. (2/4)
And David played this character!
Oh loving that. And it works with all the details that are similar to their ethereal self.
I loved Good Omens Season 3!⭐️👏🏻 The self-sacrificial love of Aziracrow to save the humans for all time (much like the original Jesus) made me cry 😭 Their essence lives on in Anthony and Asa. They are finally free 🥹 I think the fandom will feel better after we have some sleep 💜🫂 #GO3 #GO3spoilers
#Go3spoiler I'm slowly starting to process it all. Is this the ending I wanted? No. Is it a happy ending? Yes, in its own way, because by doing so, they chose each other forever, really. Do I regret watching Go? NEVER EVER.
I'm so sad it's over, but it was such a good ending.
My feeling exactly. I'm going to nap all weekend and have a rewatch. But over all there's stuff I liked, stuff I could have done without, and an ending that I need to ponder some more.
That’s what I’m saying! I loved the ending! Just sad it’s done….
Twitter’s a bit of a hellscape, but AU really loved this. #GoodOmens3Spoilers
Jen perfectly summed up my feelings on it. I really had to sit and marinate in my feelings after watching it because it was a shock, but once I took stock of my feelings I saw how romantic it really was. #go3spoilers
Ugh, but *I* really loved this. Though AU is a hell of a Freudian slip.
I love this so much and it's so true
This is so beautiful 💕
⚠️Spoilers! ⚠️ . . . . Ok hear me out. Once they die, God asks them if it was worth it, before throwing them back in the normal universe. So they had their chance at living a human life, and they can continue their retirement as angel and demon. #GoodOmens3spoilers #goodomens3
Like those stories where one character agrees to give up their status/ wealth/powers to be with their love.. and instead the other is elevated, and they get to be together. A reward for their sacrifice.
And they tell her, "Yes. Yes, it was."
