Russian drone strikes hit Kherson, Zelensky warns of more waves
A Ukrainian drone attack targeted the Astrakhan gas processing plant, regional head Igor Babushkin said. He claimed all UAVs were shot down or suppressed by electronic warfare, with "debris" sparking a fire. #Russia
Debris...the most effective and destructive weapon ever
I prefer shrapnel, instead of debris... "Shrapnel refers to flying metal fragments from an exploded bomb, shell, mine, or missile, often causing severe injuries. It is commonly used to describe debris from explosions."
My reading of these Firms maps is tgat the biggest red blob is the fire and there will also be a hot smoke trail from it. This looks to fit that pattern, fire at the plant and hot smoke from left to right.
🇺🇦 Zelensky: Russia itself chose to end the partial silence that had lasted for several days. Over 200 strike drones were launched over Ukraine that night. Air bombs – over 80, ~30 air strikes. Strike drones were downed in Dnipro, Zhytomyr, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv regions, Kyiv.
There is damage to energy facilities, apartment buildings, a kindergarten, and there was even a strike on an ordinary civilian locomotive on the railway... It is known that there are injuries from these strikes. Unfortunately, there are also deaths. My condolences to the relatives and friends.
These firefighters are true heroes, working tirelessly to put out what looks like a devastating fire. 💪
