Netanyahu is doing to the NYT exactly what Trump is with the BBC: suing them for reporting on actual, truthful events. That Palestinian prisoners have been raped by Israeli captors has been known for years now. Nicholas Kristof simply put it in an article—an opinion piece—with a banner headline.

Netanyahu is vowing to sue the New York Times over Nicholas Kristof’s well researched piece on the systemic sexual violence it carries out on Palestinian prisoners. Unsurprisingly, they are alleging this was a case of ‘blood libel.’

The nytimes released an actually well sourced article about how Israel systematically rapes Palestinian prisoners, including with dogs, and now Israel is suing.

Sexual abuse of Palestinian prisoners is not new. I was reading about it in my college classes in the 90’s. It’s been going on that long.

I'm sorry but weren't Israeli soldiers *literally* caught on camera sexually abusing Palestinian prisoners and didn't one of them *literally* go on TV and admit he'd done it?
