The Rolling Stones released a de-aged deepfake video for "In The Stars," the lead single from their album "Foreign Tongues" due July 10, directed by Francois Rousselet and featuring actress Odessa A'zion. The clip digitally reconstructs the band members' 1970s faces using archival imagery, face-mapping and CGI to portray the group decades younger. By using AI to resurrect the band's younger likenesses for a promotional music video, the release highlights how legacy artists can employ synthetic media and raises questions about likeness rights, consent and creative authenticity.
