Nationals' Hot Dog Night lines swell after hot dog fries debut
The Washington Nationals bravely ask “What if your hot dog was actually fries?”
This is a special promotion for National Hot Dog Day. July 18th.
The next step is to make one giant, hot dog-shaped french fry.
Hot dog fries???? I think things have really gone too far now. Also, I'll let y'all know how they taste
Literally texted a friend who is going to the Nats game... his response was to go "Already done" and snap a photo of him in the hat.
Willing to find out the answer.
Extreme would. How do we scale this for nationwide rollout?
They do not look editable. That wouldn't stop me but still should be noted.
That's hot dog noodles. Spaglizzy
@andrewfleer.com are you planning on going
Has @halleycomet3.bsky.social made a statement? 🌭
The line is SO long right now. But I got my pigs in a blanket and also my hat.
The way they curl (because they obviously would- they're meat, the proteins behave differently at different temperatures) is deeply unsettling.
Whoever doesn't want to try these has never smoked a bologna chub and then fried the slices. This would be really good and I might have to try some in the air fryer.
Now I want one giant hot dog shaped fry served in a hot dog bun... But deep fried, not grilled of course
We long thought hot dogs could not be less dignified, but the Washington Nationals yanked open a hole in the Earth and swallowed their remaining mirage of dignity.
Why don't they have a breading of some sort like chicken fries. Like the problem isn't their existance. It's that they didn't go far enough.
What if your fries are actually hot dogs?
Sweet Jesus... There is no shame left in the stadium food world.. Everything is fries now...
the line for the totally fine vegan hot dog was very reasonable. just saying
I wonder how much longer the line was for the bathrooms since the hot dog fries were introduced
I like me a good chicago hot dog, and a good stadium dog, but vegan/veggie dogs have come such a long way I can say in some situations, they are just better
Was it a gluten based, soy based, or one of the impossible pea protein ones? I'm partial to gluten, tbh, but I like all of them.
Vegan hotdog technology is getting pretty solid.
My main complaint with vegan menu options is that they try to advertise them as non-vegan names. No, that's not a vegan pizza. It's a very tasty vegetable flatbread with tomato sauce, but it's not pizza.
