Christopher Nolan says The Odyssey will be his 'biggest' film
Nolan explains why his upcoming adaptation of The Odyssey needed to be the biggest movie he's made.
Racist Weirdos: "Christopher Nolan is disgracing Homer!" Homer if he was alive today and watching the Odyssey in a movie theater: "and how do you make the popped corn taste so richly of the sea and of the cow? what magic empowers this addictive flavor?"
Homer : Achilles better not be straight
🥹I want to come along with you. I want to watch movies with Homer and his popped corn
Traditionally, Homer isn't watching anything, he's listening though.
Homer watching any movie on the big screen: *confused screaming*
Giving Homer a blowie in the back row of his own movie
Homer perplexed by this strange corn that is neither wheat nor oat nor barley, fetched from over Oceanus in the Isles of the Blessed
I think he would be ecstatic that his writings still resonate with people 2700 years into the future.
I want to watch movies with him too, but wasnt dude blind?
Homer: Barbarians are translating my work?
My only problem is if you’re remaking The Odyssey in 2026, you fucking cast Mantzoukas. And since they didn’t, I’ll just wait until it’s muted on TNT in an airport bar.
butter flavored coconut oil and flavacol " coconut...oil? " ooooh boy. aight buckle in, youre gonna learn today.
I heard there was some sort of controversy about the historical accuracy of the Odyssey, so I took a look. ...Wait, did Christopher Nolan cast HUMANS in the role of gods? 😮
It's kind of insulting, considering gods have had so little work for the last 2 thousand years.
IMAX wasn't even a film format back then!
I'm sure he tried to find authentic Ancient Greek Gods, but finding one who isn't a known sexual predator isn't easy. Think of the PR disaster.
Pretty messed up that Christopher Nolan would try to make The Odyssey look almost dreamlike, as though it were a fictional story set in a much older time period, by not showing the blue skies and ocean. Now everyone will think Greece is ugly. That is very confusing for people like me!!!!!
This is exactly what got The Acolyte canceled. I will never stop complaining.
In an ancient story in which the wildness of nature and tumultuous human emotions are intertwined, they should’ve made the wine dark sea turquoise and calm.
I feel these are the same kind of people that want to make their own movies writing endless AI prompts (that end up in absolute shit of course)
