Feds subpoena Hasan Piker and Medea Benjamin over Cuba trips

The U.S. Treasury Department issued subpoenas to political commentator Hasan Piker and CodePink cofounder Medea Benjamin seeking records of their travel to Cuba as part of a federal probe into whether they violated U.S. Cuba sanctions. The subpoenas request travel records and related documents to determine whether either engaged with sanctioned Cuban entities or otherwise breached embargo rules. Hasan Piker is a U.S. political commentator and streamer and Medea Benjamin is a longtime anti-war activist and CodePink cofounder, both now under scrutiny. The move matters because expanded enforcement could expose U.S. travelers and advocacy groups to civil or criminal penalties and affect how Americans travel and organize in relation to Cuba.

On the Hasan Piker subpoena: anyone who cheers it on is a fascist, regardless of anything Piker has done or said in the past. Those who cheer it on have 0 principles and thus are indistinguishable from fascists themselves. They stand for nothing, and because of that they only bring more fascism.
