Eid al-Adha observed, communities share Eid Mubarak messages

Muslims around the world observed Eid al-Adha on May 27, with an estimated 2 billion people marking the holiday, including thousands in Ohio. Communities attended special prayers at mosques, gave charity, and gathered for family meals and celebrations. People exchanged Eid Mubarak greetings as families and community leaders completed traditional holiday rites. The holiday matters because it reinforces family bonds, drives charitable support for those in need, and highlights religious diversity across communities nationwide.
