Street Fighter 6 update adds Ingrid and expands World Tour content
Curious that SF6 characters aren't getting anymore World Tour content. I remember when I said it felt like this game had a story update on the way people kept telling me "No, the story is going to play out in World Tour." Well looks like that ain't happening, so wonder what the plan is now.

I get it though, most streamers don't care about WT so it never gets any screen time, and after the Alex debacle they prob did think it's overall not worth the effort
Looking at the Ingrid World Tour content, Street Fighter 6 might be the most "nothing ever happens" story mode I've seen in a fighting game and I've played modern NRS titles.

HorseCarnival10I was okay with it providing fun context and side info to go with the arcade routes. My main qualm with it was that the main driving focus of the plot was you rescuing your good friend Bosch, a man you knew for less than a day.

DittoM4Most SF creators I follow won’t cover it, but World Tour ending really sucks, I really liked interacting with the SF cast. Haven’t touched the new avatar modes yet but that’s not really a replacement for WT.
Kyh92My read is that, especially with some of the plot-threads they've set up, they may want to do proper expansions to World Tour that have you doing new Main Story stuff. So they might do one big World Tour patch per season. I'm guessing we'll be getting Seth soon for that reason
