A Minecraft Movie: Squared was announced with a July 23, 2027 theatrical release and an official build-challenge inviting player submissions. A teaser clip features Jason Momoa, Jack Black and Kirsten Dunst, with Dunst confirmed as Alex and Matt Berry returning in a new role. Creators are producing large-scale in-game builds, cosplay, illustrations, short animatics and edits that emphasize Alex, the new forest biome scenes and the franchise's trademark comedic set-pieces.

I wonder how destructive people watching this in the theaters are going to be over this one after the whole chicken jockey saga from the 1st movie 🎬. I doubt it will be as bad as that but who knows will just have to wait and see until 2027 i guess.
