Sonic Month kicks off for 35th anniversary

Sonic the Hedgehog is celebrating its 35th anniversary with a monthlong "Sonic Month" of playthroughs, fan art, community streams, and themed releases. Creators are filling the calendar with illustrations, short comics and animatics, playthrough series, commissions, 3D renders, and stylistic tributes. Recurring subjects include Tails-centered pieces, Metal Sonic reinterpretations, Sonamy pairings, and characters from the IDW and gameverse such as Tangle and Whisper. Official anniversary visuals and a new 35th color scheme are appearing alongside community contests and curated feature posts.
