Karl-Anthony Towns added 18 points and 12 rebounds while Victor Wembanyama led San Antonio with 26 points, 12 rebounds and 3 blocks. New York converted clutch baskets and defense down the stretch to turn a tight game into a decisive win and seize a 1-0 series lead. That late-game execution gives the Knicks momentum and forces San Antonio's young core to respond in Game 2.

But the "give it to that guy" system works very well if that guy is extremely practiced and skillful, never wastes possessions, and the opponent is seemingly trying to figure out their best option in real time
Face2There's only ever like four of those dudes in the league at a time, and Jalen is definitely one of them! He's incredible. But the Spurs have a handful of guys who are all above-average on that spectrum, which is still really good.
