Hey Maine Democrats, jettison Platner now. He’ll lose to Collins just based on the shit we know about him now. And there will be lots more shit coming out on him. Janet Mills remains on the ballot. Vote for her. She’ll beat Collins. And that’s the only thing that matters, right?

Janet Mills is still in the ballot. The winner of the primary can then withdraw and let the party pick a new nominee. I don’t think it’ll happen but if leading Dems wanted to do the right thing, and Mills herself offered it, this would be the most plausible option on the table at this point.

I think Janet Mills was the preferred party candidate, but Platner was performing much better in the polls, so she suspended her campaign. However, she is still on the primary ballot under ranked-choice voting.

Or you could do something constructive, and have @davidcostello.bsky.social, @andrealaflamme.bsky.social and Janet Mills on. No Nazi tattoos, no sexual assault, no rape apology, no Blackwater ties... you could present the GOOD choices instead of giving Disaster Boy a platform for more bullshit.

Rank David Costello first. He's a literal experienced qualified Democrat on the ballot. Janet Mills suspended active campaigning but SHE'S STILL ON THE BALLOT. Andrea LaFlamme is an official write-in candidate, also a solid Democrat. There is no need to rank or assume Platner is the only option.

Apparently, you’re not familiar with what’s happening in Maine. Neither Janet Mills, Costello or LaFlamme have significant actual followings for this race. Noise online does not equate to an actual movement of support for any of them like the one that Graham Platner deservedly possesses here.
