SpaceX set to IPO next week, could make Elon Musk a trillionaire
SpaceX will begin an initial public offering next week, a move that could push Elon Musk's net worth past $1 trillion. The IPO would hand large payouts to early investors and employees and comes after SpaceX secured more than $10 billion in government contracts since 2025. At least 10 former Trump administration officials hold up to $43.8 million combined in SpaceX or xAI shares, linking political figures to private financial gains. This matters because the flotation concentrates vast private wealth tied to public contracts and could reshape tech-sector influence and political funding.
At least 10 Trump officials hold as much as $43.8M in stock in Elon Musk's SpaceX or in xAI. That means the SpaceX IPO — which will make Musk a trillionaire — would also directly enrich Trump's lackeys. SpaceX has been boosted by over $10B in government contracts since 2025. See the problem here?
Illegal activities, confiscated and use to pay down the debt. 💥💥NO ONE IN GOVERNMENT SHOULD HOLD ANY STOCKS!! (including 2 years AFTER they leave office)💥💥 Dont like it? DONT be a government employee....!
The question isn’t whether SpaceX is a great company. The question is whether officials who can influence policy should be financially tied to the same company receiving billions in government contracts. Those are two very different debates.
Government contracts which Musk illegally and directly gave himself when he was in doge….. See the problem here?
It's wild how quickly a billionaire doing two nazi salutes can be forgotten...
PT Barnum meets late stage Capitalism
All of it should be nationalized and assets seized in the name of national security.
Yes we do see the problem. Investment Experts Condemn Elon Musk’s SpaceX Stock IPO Launch — Based on $4.9 billion Loss by SpaceX — as ‘Coup’ and ‘100% Fraud’ newsvideoclip.com/investment-e...
Would SpaceX even be a thing without massive government funding? If it belongs to anyone, it's the people.
Another problem... Musk couldn't handle a loss of control over his child, so he spent $44 Billion USD to buy control over public discourse, turning a domestic grievance into a global corp vendetta. Trust me, I've seen some shit, but I've never seen public psychopathic rage on such a scale before.
And what do taxpayers have to show for SpaceX failure? Has Musk achieved anything with his rockets because NASA just sent astronauts around the moon and back. I would rather have a well funded NASA and Musk in South Africa.
Yes. And the only space program with demonstrated results over time (other than putting up self-serving satellites and most certainly getting this country beyond earth-bound) remains NASA. Musk and Bezos must be removed from the government trough.
He’s a government handout recipient, probably the biggest in history
Yes, another treasonous way they're stealing taxpayer money. Would be great if the military honored their oath and arrested Krasnov & his treasonous minions in the WH, Congress, SCOTUS and the Cabinet.
End the income tax on low and middle class. Corporate wants to raid tax funds let them raid their own taxed money
Oh yeah. We see the problem.
I saw the problem four words into your post.
You're hitting on a classic case of crony capitalism. Where government contracts and public funds fuel private wealth, and loyalty is bought with stock options.
Just FYI here in UK, our Prime Minister has yet again had to call out Musk for “interfering “ in our political discourse. We are frankly sick & tired of US beta males inserting themselves into our lives.
And they’re still blowing up on the launch pad
Mr Pump walks into the room, walks over to Mr Dump and they embrace. Somehow the stacks in their pockets multiply and begin to overflow onto the floor around them, as they climb the pile to remain in free air. The stack grows to a height of about 12 feet and topples them both into the Koi pond.
The people fast tracking SpaceX into the Nasdaq and SP500 should be sued for gross negligence. And we need to sue anyone index funds that include SpaceX for gross negligence.
Any amount over $100 billion should be taxed at 99%
No one should EVER be worth more than $10-$20 million. This graphic helps us understand and grasp the vast differences:
This is how the stock market works for *them* they all just move their money around and “invest” in themselves or each other. See how that works?
We need DOGE to cut out this waste and corruption - Oh wait!!!
Thats the way how conservative politics work.
Does anyone know if Musk and the rest of the executive officers and directors are subject to a six-month lockup (which is standard in an IPO)?
Us normal Americans see the problem. But the GOP doesn’t.
There is another interesting aspect of this IPO is that SpaceX (Illicit Musk) want to reserve 30% of the shares for retail investors. Musk has a big following in the retail investor community. Kind of like 🟠💩 MAGA supporters.
SpaceX is a Ponzi scheme and will fuck 401Ks when the market crashes. European funds have banned investments in the IPO.
If you're reading this, you might be about to help make Elon Musk the world’s first trillionaire. If so, you’ll also be risking your retirement savings while simultaneously bailing out X and Cybertrucks. And to top it off: You have pretty much no say in the matter.

At least this just happened...
I hate this so so much
If some fund manager were to start a fund, the premise of which is to only invest in legit, profitable companies, and to scorn the speculative grifter shit, there would be no shortage of investors lining up to buy in. Just sayin’.
I’ve read the article and I have no idea still how reading bsky is helping Musk? He owns twitter, not bsky. How am I possibly helping him? Or did you just copy/paste the same article onto multiple platform?
I hope the Robinhood meme stonk retailers wreck it for him.
no, you do have a say: it's called closing your 401k
do not even think about buying shares.... ....before you watch this www.youtube.com/watch?v=IHD8...
god it would be so amazing for spacex and anthropic to fail to ipo due to profitibility requirements i would be so bappy
Its funny how Ford once paid their workers a truly fair amount and they were sued by competators because its against the rules to pay the plebs more than the literal minimum where they show up, but at the same time AI can have almost zero ROI and investors don't care.
I expect it will do fine, unfortunately. The markets aren't acting rationally and wont until a crash. Even with his successes, Musk is a chronic under-deliverer on his promises but that doesn't seem to matter. Most of Musk's IPO is about xAI with no real plan on how to make money, few seem to care.
What if they won 😭
Do we have any idea if this will actually happen? Most of my retirement is in relatively conservative stuff (index ETFs, target date accounts) and I'm dreading it being added
Elon Musk's "baby mama" Ashley St. Clair says she turned down a $40 million bribe with an NDA from Elon Musk to not speak about corruption that she witnessed. She claims Elon Musk's companies, which are building a digital landscape, are dangerous for the future of humanity.
This is not a jab at you Paul. I appreciate the work you're doing. But I do wish people would stop referring to her as "Elon Musk's baby mama". It just makes her sound like property. She's her own person, and should be introduced as such. Like; "Ashley St. Clair, the former partner of Elon Musk"
I never understand the Republicans and Musk obsession about hurting people and having all their information. Something is wrong with the Republicans and Musk.
I think she turned down the $40mil to avoid having her brake lines cut by Elon et al and so she didn't get hit with criminal conspiracy charges when they all go down for their crimes. So not exactly a saint but I am glad she did it. bsky.app/profile/whir...
"Elon Musk has such copious amounts of power and little responsibility for what he does with it. "There now seems to be a lynch mob deciding what justice looks like." Why has Musk set the mob on innocent British police officers? www.thenewsagents.co.uk/article/how-...
If he’s prepared to do this and not retract/correct it when he’s wrong and knows he’s put innocent lives at risk, surely a ban on X in the UK is a proportionate action to seriously consider.
Why? Because he gets away with it again and again and again. Until he faces real consequences for what he does he'll keep doing it but that will never happen will it? The law only applies to us little people.
Restore It is odd that 'British Nationalists' are so dependent on, and entangled with, an American nutjob, like Elon Musk.
Also, he seems to have grown a stupid beard.
The more important question is: why do the government accept it? They need to pull their finger out and do something about the influence of Musk and those like him, on this country. Firm action, now.
Too many journalists are still checking out their critical faculties when it comes to his "visionary genius", still calling him "Elon" like he's their mate, and badically treating him like a celebrity rather than a huckster with several shonky businesses.
Power is dominated by psychopaths.
Congrats. You’re About to Unwittingly Make Elon Musk a Trillionaire. open.substack.com/pub/thebulwa...
He still won’t be happy. All the money in the world, and he’s still a miserable fucking dick.
Not me. I refuse to support that Apartheid bigoted shitster in anything. He stole the 2024 election for a Felon and then cut off all aid for Africa cause he is a racist, transphobic A hole.
Hopefully he'll move to Mars 😏
I think the fact that the obscenely wealthy don't face accountability and don't pay their fair share in taxes made Musk a trillionaire.
SpaceX sets the price for its IPO at $135 per share which would likely make Elon Musk the first trillionaire. www.cnbc.com/2026/06/03/space...
Everyone knows its overvalued and has a dysfunctional (and barely legal) structure. So lets see where this goes. Everyone is in overkill mode now.
Everyone could just do better and not fund him or his shit companies….but finance bros love funding evil men.
I set the price at $1. But I am sane.
I struggle to come up with a less worthy person. 🤬
He has enough of a cult that it will likely happen. But it remains a grossly inflated evaluation that makes no business sense.
And even then he can never be a real boy.
We are allowing a real life super villain to take power right before our eyes.
