World Environment Day 2026, theme 'Now For Climate' announced
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres announced World Environment Day 2026 will carry the theme "Now For Climate" and that official events will kick off in Baku. He highlighted that the past 11 years are the hottest on record and cited record ocean temperatures, melting ICE, rising seas, and more extreme weather while urging countries to cut emissions, protect nature, support vulnerable communities, and speed the shift to renewable energy. The campaign pairs global advocacy with local adaptation initiatives such as river restoration and resilience planning, stressing that policy and investment choices made now will determine how communities withstand accelerating climate risks.
An average human breathes in about 10,000 liters of air daily. Pure air is a fundamental necessity for a healthy life. This #WorldEnvironmentDay, let’s follow Pujya Bapuji's guidance to Go Green and purify the atmosphere. 💨
Go Green #WorldEnvironmentDay
There is the same Divine Ram in everyone..." Keeping Pujya Bapuji's spiritual message in mind, let’s vow to protect every bird, animal, and plant this #WorldEnvironmentDay. Let's unite to Go Green. 🕊️
