Valve confirmed the Steam Machine and the Steam Frame will ship this summer, setting launch timing for both of its upcoming hardware products. The company is expanding its Steam Verified compatibility program to certify games on the Steam Machine and Steam Frame, using the Deck’s compatibility standards as the baseline. Valve also released SteamOS 3.8.7 Beta with Intel handheld performance improvements and fixes for audio popping, aligning OS updates with the new hardware. This matters because official verification plus OS updates will improve out-of-the-box game compatibility and signal Valve’s renewed push into dedicated Steam hardware.

guessing a lot of "verified" games will still run like ass on the Frame. there's a lot of games that are supposedly verified for deck but you have to run them at all lowest settings and they still look and run worse than some switch 1 ports
