Monster Hunter Wilds expansion announced

Monster Hunter Wilds just got a major expansion announcement: Ascendance, revealed by Capcom and slated for 2027. Artists, cosplayers, and creators are turning the new material into illustrations, short animatics, comics, weapon concept art, and cosplay. Much of the work zeroes in on the grittier Avis Hunter redesign, looming Elder Dragons such as Kushala Daora and Teostra, and new monster designs like crab-like bird creatures alongside Rathalos callbacks. Collectible attention has already landed on a Good Smile Nendoroid Felyne in Rathalos armor as an early standout.

While I really hope we get a Rise successor on Switch 2 I am so excited for this, unlike most people I absolutely LOVE Monster Hunter Wilds, I hope it launches in a better state than the PC version but Monster Hunter belongs on a handheld and I will absolutely buy it again
