Former Channel 4 anchor Jon Snow reveals Alzheimer’s diagnosis
Former Channel 4 News anchor Jon Snow, 78, has revealed he has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. Snow, WHO was the lead presenter of Channel 4 News for 32 years, says he will document his experience living with the condition in a new film. The Alzheimer’s Society described Alzheimer’s as the most common form of dementia and highlighted Snow's intention to use the film to raise awareness. Snow's public disclosure matters because his prominence and the documentary could help destigmatize dementia and focus attention on care and research.

Jon Snow was a brilliant groundbreaking journalist. He listened, learned and explained clearly to us the viewer. So sorry to hear this news. It's very cruel. Please pass on our thanks and love to Jon.
So very sorry to hear about Jon, wish him the very best in managing his diagnosis. Don’t disagree with any of the comments made in the interviews tonight, progress is being made. However, my husband recently passed away just over 2 years from diagnosis. There isn’t always time 💔
