after a while you begin to realize some folk are just performative when it comes to AI. Mihoyo and ShiftUP (Stellar Blade/NIKKE devs) are super transparent about their use of AI and people do not give a fuck. I see mutuals continue to play Mihoyo games and I'm like "y'all just don't care huh"

It’s tough to know where to draw the line sometimes, like I’m probably not gonna swear off MH or SF6 because capcom is using ai “efficiency tools”. But mihoyo and shiftup are so ridiculously blatant about image genAi that I’m not sure how anyone can support them and still pretend to be against it.
