Postal workers decry new USPS rule tied to Trump's mail‑in voting plan
The American Postal Workers Union said it is 'deeply alarmed' by a new United States Postal Service rule implementing parts of President Trump’s March 31 order on mail‑in voting and said the union 'rejects the premise' that USPS needed to comply. The rule instructs USPS to deliver absentee ballots only to voters whose names appear on lists states submit for federal approval and establishes procedures for federally managed eligibility lists. The union warned the change could centralize control over WHO receives ballots, politicize the Postal Service, and slow or disrupt ballot delivery, creating risks to voter access and election administration.

HawgPhan87814My friends at the P.O. are really miffed that they aren't allowed to postmark mail when recieved. It causes late fees and more if postmarked when it's processed. It's also a scam to hold mail-in votes until after the cutoff, with no way to prove when it hit the postoffice.
