Universal free school meals is basically the policy that earns my vote - obviously other things are important, but feeding children is so cost-effective and so beneficial that if you don't support it, you are clearly a wrong-un.

Free school meals is such a good policy but it sucks when your child is a restrictive eater and won't touch anything on offer.

this is just so stupid on so many levels but: prepare a CV via AI for the thing that's supposed to replace our jobs. plus the thing is meant to be "intelligent" and simple to use but you need to be trained on it. plus, targeting tutors on free school meals kids is saying the quiet part out loud

Free school meals, food security and a higher minimum wage?

If these AI tutors are so good, why not give them to the kids of rich people, and let the kids on free school meals slum it with human tutors?

Yeah, I know you do, and your long-running campaign against universal free school meals attests to that. Why just means test this, though? Let's privitise the schools and the NHS and bring back toll roads. Or we could dream big and make things better, and nicer.

More and more I hear a fear of how it will be the wealthy that can afford real human contact while those less well off will be subject to substandard AI slop. This is what AI tutors for kids on free school meals is.

The difference is school meals are every day for months. Hospital meals are usually short term. And picking on those in hospital long term.... Well if you want to but sounds a bit immoral to me. Even in terms of raw £ it would probably cost more than it would save to means test hospital meals.
