Disclosure Day opens to strong reviews, praise for Blunt and Spielberg
Disclosure Day opened in theaters this weekend, and critics singled out Steven Spielberg's striking camera moves and Emily Blunt's powerful lead performance. Reviewers also praised Colman Domingo's supporting turn and credited screenwriter David Koepp for shaping the film's blockbuster structure. The film dramatizes the moment conclusive evidence of intelligent extraterrestrial life becomes public, forcing questions about empathy and how society would respond, a premise that feels timely as scientists update post-detection guidelines.
I’m watch Disclosure Day but I got myself one of the remaining TADC buckets!!
Disclosure Day was fun, thrilling, a wonderful watch that is refreshingly earnest. Maybe too earnest for many, but deeply Spielberg in visuals and action with music that is VERY John Williams. Been a while since I experienced that myself LOL
I didn’t manage to get bucket I don’t think my theatre ever had them to be fair
Struggling to avoid spoilers here, but #DisclosureDay is literally exactly the same story as... another Spielberg film. And it ain't Jaws.
Emily Blunt, Josh O'Connor, Eve Hewson and Coin Firth are all *excellent*. And, as ever, Spielberg's mastery of action and suspense is... well, masterful.
... I'm really hoping it aint Schindler's List
I'm a huge Amistad fan to be fair, so looking forward to it.
