Art Fight 2026, Team Comedy

artJun 15, 20265094,857

Art Fight 2026 is the annual online art-battle, and today marks Team Comedy's reveal and sign-up kickoff. Work under Team Comedy leans into clowns, jesters, slapstick scenes, and goofy original characters, shown as digital illustrations, animated GIFs, and watercolor studies. Look for a jester mascot turned into emote packs, dragon OCs reimagined as clowns, and a large watercolor clown portrait on heavy paper. Several artists are also sharing animated honking-clown GIFs, circus-style group scenes, and playful character adoption posts.

An illustration showing all three members of Deep Cut dressed up as jesters (minus Big Man, who is dressed as the Phantom of the Opera). Frye is in yellow, repping Team Comedy, Shiver in blue, repping Team Tragedy and Big Man in red, repping Team Mystery.

My Artfight card with some of my dragon characters. Gloria, Drago, Gildfrith, Dracatus, and Hana. There are a few more on my Artfight profile not shown here. I'm open to friendly fire which means I don't mind trading art with the same team. I will also do revenges which means I will often draw characters of Artfighters who drew mine first. Last year I revenged everyone.

A stylized “Art Fight” profile card with a dark teal and blue theme labeled “TEAM Tragedy” across the top in bold decorative lettering. In the upper left is a circular avatar portrait of a wolf character wearing a red hat, round glasses, and a red cloak, giving an intellectual, slightly mischievous look. The profile section lists the username Hatwolf and “I attack: Fantasy OCs, dragons, kobolds, etc.” On the right side are three checkbox categories: Friendly Fire and Revenge are checked with purple checkmarks, while Mass Attack is unchecked. Below is a Featured Characters section showing five square portrait thumbnails of fantasy characters: a cheerful fluffy dragon, a black-and-gold dragon, a furry dragon with a smug grin and red mane, a blue aquatic dragon, and a pale insectoid creature with large cyan eyes. At the bottom, a row of character type labels includes Human, Feral, Anthro, Monster, Worm, and Mech. The Feral, Anthro and Monster categories are circled in purple, and a handwritten purple note reads “DRAGONS!” next to “other.”

The sheet states that human, feral, and anthro characters are all available to attack. Extra info states that there are "furries, magical girls, (and) kitty cats".

The ref includes a simple drawing of her sitting down with her wings wide open, another of her being held by her mother, Aurora, and a final one of her breathing bright blue fire.
