Around 200 Stanford graduates walked out, waved Palestinian flags, and chanted as Google CEO Sundar Pichai took the stage at Stanford’s June 14, 2026 commencement in Palo Alto. Protesters condemned Google’s contracts, citing Project Nimbus and the company’s work with the Israeli government, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement, while smaller groups blew whistles, carried banners, and also exited mid-speech.
