Steam Next Fest goes live, indie demos available now

Steam Next Fest launched June 15, putting dozens of indie game demos playable now and a Sovereign Tower demo scheduled for June 15. Sovereign Tower, from Wild Wits and Curve Games, will launch on PC on August 6 and its Steam Next Fest demo is available during the event. Other playable demos include A Game About Chopping Trees, where players chop trees, upgrade gear, and ride a handcar solo or cooperatively, and TANUKI: Pon's Summer, whose demo covers the opening three days with new quests, navigational tools, BMX challenges, and about two hours of content. The festival gives players a free way to try upcoming indies, wishlist titles before release, and provide feedback that can shape final games.
