There's no such thing as an honorable Republican politician today, they all been the knee to Trump. During Watergate there were Republicans who actually called for Nixon to step down.

Reminder: The Watergate break in was on June 17, 1972. Nixon did not resign until August, 1974. It took over two years to reveal that the president was involved in the cover up. Many of his top men went to jail. He did not.
