Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 and 2 coming to PlayStation in July

Treyarch announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Black Ops II will be ported to PlayStation 5 in July, with Iron Galaxy handling the ports. The PS5 releases will include Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies modes, bringing the original maps and modes to current-generation hardware. These ports extend availability beyond existing Xbox and PC versions and restore two of Treyarch's most influential entries for PlayStation players.

IMO, black ops and black ops 2 were probably the last great cod games. I guess on the modern warfare side it would be the original mw2. Mw3 was cool too, I suppose

I am sad to see that Xbox is announcing Black Ops 1 & 2 "remastesr" for Playstation and not to their own consoles. It is more important them to announce exclusive remasters at least first to Playstation. Xbox BC runs those like 720p and doesn't have cross-play. bsky.app/profile/wari...

It’s kind of funny the Black Ops situation. Both games are available on PC and Xbox already so they don’t need ports. But Microsoft is the IP owner and publisher yet is releasing games not for the platforms they own.
