At the 2026 PWHL Draft in Detroit the Vancouver Goldeneyes selected Caroline Harvey first overall, making the Olympic tournament MVP and 2026 Patty Kazmaier Award winner the No. 1 pick. The Seattle Torrent used the No. 2 pick on Abbey Murphy, the University of Minnesota's all-time leading scorer and a two-time Olympian. PWHL San Jose took American defender Laila Edwards at No. 4, and with Harvey, Edwards and fellow Badger Lacey Eden all chosen in the first round Wisconsin placed three players among the top five picks, signaling immediate pro impact for multiple teams.
