Tonight on TCM #TCM THE TOWERING INFERNO (1974) Nothing says 1974 like this blazing disaster movie. I saw it when it came out. I was 16, Even then I knew it was silly but fun entertainment.🎥

Right around the time Faye Dunaway, one of the actors, starred in 3 of the best movies ever made: Chinatown, 3 Days of the Condor, and Network, which also starred Inferno alum William Holden.

Pranya39222I remember this vividly because it was a big deal on how they listed the actors names. McQueen is first and Newman’s is higher. Apparently, this was a big deal since they both wanted to be first. This was the compromise.
