National Rejoin March, London

Pro-EU demonstrators marched through central London on 20 June 2026 in the National Rejoin March, calling for the UK to rejoin the European Union and demanding a fresh referendum, finishing with a rally on Parliament Square. Speakers at the rally included former Labour leader Neil Kinnock and activist Madeleina Kay, and former EU chief negotiator Michel Barnier said the UK could retain special pre-Brexit terms if it rejoined. Organisers assembled outside Temple station at noon and led a planned route across Westminster, with participants carrying EU flags and banners pressing for restored freedom of movement and closer economic ties. The march signals renewed pro-EU pressure ten years after Brexit, emphasising economic grievances and urging politicians to consider a new referendum that could reshape UK and EU relations.
