Ukrainian drones strike Crimea, fires at Kerch port and other sites
Ukrainian drones struck multiple targets across Crimea overnight, igniting large fires at the Kerch Sea Fishing Port and at Port Kavkaz and triggering explosions near the Chonhar bridge and other military sites. Russian-installed authorities in Crimea suspended civilian fuel sales, restricting deliveries to state and security services, and Russian officials said the Panagia ferry at the Kerch crossing was hit, killing one person and injuring another. The attacks target fuel and transport hubs on both sides of the 21-mile Kerch Strait, degrading logistics for Russian forces and further isolating the peninsula.
Bit of an #explodey at the port at Kerch in occupied Crimea.
And in an entirely unrelated development, this totally fine, not at all panic-related announcement has been made... bsky.app/profile/spec...
Ukraine is in the process of cutting off Crimea from Russian access. Gasoline sales have stopped and power outages are being scheduled. Ferries are also stopped in places along with Kerch Bridge traffic. G7 and more was helpful for them. Knowing there is support, it is advantageous to Ukraine.
The Russians in Crimea must surely be watching things and deciding now is the time to leave via the bridge before that goes as well and they can still buy black market fuel for the trip.
Let's freedom explode while tyrants implode. That said, planet really needs this to come to an end, a just end.
Just a bit. Class IV bavovna. Not huge, but a significant location.
Both sides of the bridge.....
Looks like Russians and other folks in Crimea are going to have to wait in even longer lines at their local gas stations.
Perfect, a little #Explodey on a Sunday morning in Crimea.
Occupiers take the hint and go home.
Dangerous stuff all this oil just lying about the place. Probably a good idea to stop drilling for more of it. Eh, conservatives?
Whilst Trump might not be helping them they are clearly getting targeting packages from the pentagon.
The port area of Russian-occupied Kerch, Crimea, in Ukraine has been struck. The oil silos are on fire.
The tank farm at the rail ferry on the other side is hit, too
I see something burning in temporarily occupied Ukraine, I press like.
That should help the fuel shortage.
Cloudy with a chance of drones. Expect some (oil) rain in the afternoon. Huh, the weather forecast seems to repeat a lot over there. 🤔
There is also fire at Cape Zuk (hope spelled it right), possible AA site?
Great photograph, and more winning!
Not one, but three ferries used to transport heavy trucks between Port Kavkaz and Kerch have been knocked out. The vessels were a critical part of Crimea’s supply network, as heavy trucks are banned from crossing the Crimean Bridge and must instead use the Kerch ferry crossing.
Port Kavkaz: What once was a bottleneck has now become a stopper in the bottle. bsky.app/profile/igor...
How are supermarket shelves doing, when does the panic buying start
Russian occupation of Crimea is slowly and methodically approaching its end. It appears that Ukrainian forces were well prepared to address Russian plan B workarounds to avoid travel on the roadkill highway. Maintaining a tight noose on Russian supply efforts, won't end well for the occupiers.
Auuutssss .... that must hurt! 😎
The port in Kerch, temporarily occupied Crimea, is receiving drone sanctions at this hour. Based on the fire, this could be a strike on the ferry crossing which has been transporting fuel trucks. And the cutting of logistics lines continues...🔥🍿
Based on latest reports, this could be the Kerch port fuel terminal shown in this video, converting oil into heat and light.🛢️🔥😎
You know we have champagne chilling for the Kerch Bridge.
great news seems the ferry crossing will be out of operation now making crimea isolated even more logistically 😅
Good Morning 🔥 Severe fires are being reported across occupied Crimea following a wave of drone attacks overnight. Local reports indicate strikes near the Kerch port area and other industrial facilities, with multiple large fires visible.
Two of them are tank farms, on either side of the Strait—but that third spot on the headland is intriguing, nothing obvious there so I wonder if it’s a random grass fire, actual debris fire—or an air defense emplacement now eliminated?
Wishing for maximum logistical annihilation for ruzzians as a Fathers Day win for the fathers of Ukraine and all her defenders.
Ferry services suspended in Crimea due to escalating attacks. Source: Astra. With ferry services halted, heavy truck drivers face detours through war-torn routes while the threat of drone attacks looms larger than ever, endangering lives and livelihoods. 1/6
Ferry services through the Kerch Strait have been halted since June 21, disrupting transport. Heavy trucks are banned from the Crimean Bridge, compelling drivers to navigate the R-280 route via Rostov-on-Don and Mariupol to reach Crimea. 2/6
Russians will have to abandon Crimea. It is, was, and always will be Ukrainian. Ruski, Go home! It's over, Ivan.
The fuel terminal in the port of Kerch in Crimea is on fire after a Ukrainian drone attack!💙💛 #Kerch #Crimea #Ukraine #BavovnaTime
