ABC asks viewers to contact FCC over probes into 'The View' and local stations
On June 22, Disney-owned ABC began airing on-air spots in New York, Los Angeles and Philadelphia asking viewers to tell the Federal Communications Commission to drop investigations into The View and ABC’s local broadcast license reviews. The campaign responds to an FCC review tied to the Trump administration that has accelerated some ABC license renewal timelines while opening a separate probe into whether The View violated commission rules. ABC set a July 6 deadline for public comments and says viewer input could influence whether stations keep their licenses and whether networks change programming, raising First Amendment and press-freedom stakes.

The FCC has no control over ABC sending its signal to cable, satellite, streamer providers, only Over The Air to viewers who use antennas to receive the signal. The FCC is not so powerful as trump would have the country to believe. I think ABC will be just fine until we can get this asshole out.
Why is this in all caps? Is this a Telegram from 1920?
I guess they should enjoy their ownership of ABC while they can because when I am president, I'm going to break Disney up.
Maybe they shouldn't have given into Trump. I hope they follow the same path as CBS and start dying off. We don't need anything they have if that money goes to Trump. www.npr.org/2024/12/16/n...
