The Toronto Blue Jays beat the Houston Astros 4-2 in Toronto, moving the Blue Jays back to .500 at 39-39 on the season. Kazuma Okamoto hit a home run and drove in a run, while Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Myles Straw and Alejandro Kirk each added RBIs to supply Toronto’s offense. Astros shortstop Jeremy Peña, who had missed more than a month with a hamstring injury, exited during a sixth-inning at-bat after fouling a pitch off himself, creating a new injury concern for Houston. The win gives Toronto momentum in their longest homestand and sets up a chance to climb above .500 with a victory Tuesday.
