Vote your butt off, NY! ❤️
Mamdani is recklessly competent. Here I am cheering and applauding normal things: getting things done, serving the people, encouraging voting and government participation. I cheer because the normal things have become so rare these days. Because basic competence looks like heroism in these times.
@mayor.nyc.gov : "We're talking about a status quo where children are being killed on a daily basis." @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social does NOT back down on his comments about AIPAC "monsters" perpetuating a genocide - after Rep. Gottheimer and others yet again tried to claim they were antisemitic.
On my way to vote blue in Ulster County NY I💙NY
THIS is another reminder; 🤷 .
Such a good vibe in NYC. They have great Mayor too🙂
Vote for Darializa. Espaillat has got to go.
Tomorrow's House primaries in New York have seen historic levels spending by AI and pro-Israel super PACs. Equally unprecedented are the tactics these Big Money groups are using to hide their involvement. Watch. youtube.com/watch?v=1yd2L_a9Hqc&vl=en-US
If anyone is responding to ads and choosing who they’re going to vote for, I would prefer that they just stay home. It’s pretty evident who we should vote for. Nobody needs to spend a dime. Just look for all the Republicans and don’t vote for them.
I never cared about the wealthy before the Trump era. I honestly don’t think ANYONE should be a BILLIONAIRE. I think once you reach a billion the excess $ should go into a fund (charity) to help with the deficit and/or FEED & HOUSE the homeless. No one individual needs as much $ as a sovereign state
Time to enact some 'Election Spending Laws' much like most other advanced countries have--without all the loopholes?
Here is the Mamdanification Scorecard (aka the New Deal Scorecard) for the New York, Maryland, SC & Utah primaries tonight. The scorecard categorizes candidates based on their stances on 7 big-picture policies that reflect a new wave of grassroots, people-powered politics that Mamdani represents:
The 7 Categories are: Remove the Regime, Abolish ICE, Medicare-for-All, End Endless Wars, Make Billionaires Pay, End Citizens United, & Build A Better Tomorrow (catch all, esp. housing+local issues) This list is not an endorsement & seeks to be as objective as possible. Here’s tonight’s breakdown:
Great list. Just voted for Jakeya !(Congressional 4th)
The future is democratic socialism and anyone standing in the way is an enemy. Yes, that means all democrats who don’t support democratic socialism.
