Norman Northern Gannet was taking a time out after watching a dismal performance by his beloved England Team last night in the Bird Cup, but h e told the paparazzi that it wasn't all bad as a point still keeps them on track for the knock out phase of the tournament. But he did say that if they play like that again he will be flying out to America to give them a ruddy good kick up the arse, so all i could do was agree with Norman. So after getting a couple of snaps we were told to truly do one so he could have a relaxing day before the boss lady turns back up after her spa day with her lady friends. Captured at RSPB Bempton Cliffs.

Loving the theme today! Really made me chuckle which after four hours of broken sleep is rather good going. Hoping the breeze holds up 🙏🏻 Photograph taken of a jackdaw amongst grass and autumn leaves at Studley Royal Water Gardens, North Yorkshire. Dark lake behind thick with bokeh (blur). It looks cross about something. Always been drawn to dark coloured birds, particularly ravens. No idea why.
