Absolutely love that pick for the #NHLJets. No doubt Keaton Verhoeff, among others, would have been enticing. But taking Viggo Bjorck, the talented centre, was the right play.

FWIW, I thought Viggo Bjorck looked really good at the Worlds a few weeks ago and didn't look out of place playing with full grown men. That's why it's going to be frustrating that the Jets let him stay in Sweden for 2 years and the Moose for 2 more after that.

With Jarmo’s foundation in amateur scouting, I don’t THINK he’ll trade #4. It’s more likely #20 is moved for a 2026-27 upgrade. An old scout & scouting director is going to have a hard time trading it. A lot depends on the 1st three picks. If the Sabres go forward at 4, I think it’s Viggo Björck.
