Stephen Eustaquio scored in the 90+2' minute to give Canada a 1-0 win over South Africa in Inglewood, California, on Sunday. The stoppage-time strike, timed at the second minute of second-half stoppage time, decided the World Cup knockout match and sent Canada into the round of 16. The victory is Canada’s first ever knockout match win at a men’s World Cup. FIFA named Stephen Eustaquio Man of the Match. Canada, one of the tournament co-hosts, will next face either the Netherlands or Morocco in Houston on July 4.
